Faith

". . .God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith."

Romans 12:3

Lord, I thank You that You have given every believer a measure of faith.  Lord, You are the author and finisher of my faith.  You bring to maturity and perfection the faith that You have placed within my heart.

You said that faith comes by hearing the Word of God.  I make a conscious decision to read and meditate on Your Word every day.  and as I do faith grows in my heart.  You said that without faith it is impossible to please You.  I want to please You: Help me to have strong faith.  Faith is the assurance and confirmation, my title deed, of things that I hope for and the proof of things I do not see.  I thank You, Lord, that the faith that is in my heart perceives the unseen promise as a real fact.

I am not moved by what I see but only by what I believe, and I believe You.  By faith, I appropriate to my life every promise from Your Word.  Regardless of the circumstances around me.  Lord, I proclaim that Your promises are "yes and amen."  Faith is alive and working in my life and by faith I received al that You have done for me, in Jesus' name.

Amen

"But without faith it is impossible to please him;

for he that cometh to God must believe that he is,

and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him."

Hebrews 11:6
