Lord, I thank You for Your presence in my home.  I ask You to help me create an environment of peace, an environment that fosters a godly atmosphere.  Let everyone who comes into my home sense the love, peace, and presence of God.  

Help me to guard the atmosphere of my home by closely monitoring what kind of literature, music, movies, and television programs I allow in.  I dedicate my home to You.  Let every conversation and activity that takes place in this home honor You.  I consecrate this home to Your glory for Your use.  Let my home be a place of prayer, a place of safety, and a place of joy.  Help me to use my home to minister Your life, Your love, and Your joy to all who enter here.

Give me discernment concerning the people I invite to visit or to live in my home.  Help my home to always be a place of refuge and peace for all my family and friends.  Let my home be a place that my children desire to come to and bring their friends to.

Thank You, Lord, for blessing me with my home.  Help me to do my part in making it a special place for my family.  May Your love reign supremely in this home, and may all who come through its doors find joy, comfort, and peace.
