Prayers . . . while I'm waiting

HELP ME FIND A JOB

 

Gracious God, my provider, I thank you that I need not fear in this difficult time of searching for work.  Even in times of economic depression, you sit above the circle of the earth and see every job available.  lead me to that perfect job for me.  Give me work that will satisfy my financial needs and allow me to shine forth for you.  I'd even be happy with manual labor that would give me time to meditate on you and pray as I work.  Open doors, an then give me wisdom as to which door to enter, which advise to take.  Grant me favor with the people in charge of hiring.

 

Keep my mind open as I pound the pavement.  Help me to recognize possibilities when I "accidentally" bump into someone with information about a job I never considered before.  Make me willing to take jobs I considered menial at one time, if that is what you have for me.  Teach me to do it cheerfully and gratefully.

 

Take away any tendency toward shyness and help me search aggressively, free of fear.  Don't let the pain of rejection slow my job search.  Continue to remind m that You will provide for me even if You choose not to send along a job right now.  You own the cattle on a thousand hills; You have the resources to supply all my needs, and You have promised You will do just that.  Thank You, Lord, that I can trust You to keep Your word.  I have no doubt You will care for me.  I praise Your name, Lord.
