Prayers . . . for loved ones, friends, and strangers

PRAYER FOR UNSAVED PARENTS

O Heavenly Father, how it must tear at our heart when the people you love are victims of Satan's lies.  Lord, I come to you begging help for a dear one who believes these horrible lies.

She was sexually abused as a child, Lord. Ugly memories haunt her. Though she understands herself to be an innocent victim, she feels somehow guilty and unclean.  Expose the lie, Lord.  Teach her she is more valuable than gold to you. She is unable to trust because she views all men through the skewed lens of her past.  Expose the lie.  Show her that men an he trustworthy.  This woman selfishly guards her own interests because she believes no one else will do it.  Expose the lie.  Show her that she can depend on you to care for her.

Help her recognize Satan's lies.  Help her internalize the truth because she has saturated herself with your Word.  Help her to focus her thoughts on you, filling her mind with nobility an purity rather than nasty lies.

Call her to open herself to you so you can heal her wounded spirit.  Unfold her; pout your love over her and let her feel your purity.  Cleanse every crevice of her soul.  Grant grace for her to forgive the perpetrator, and in doing so break free of him forever.  Then hold her out for all to see; a sparkling jewel in your hand.  Thank you, Lord,

Amen

"You will be a crown of splendor in the Lord's hand,

a royal diadem in the hand of your God."

Isa. 62:3
