Prayers . . . on living successfully

PRAYER WHILE I'M HOMELESS

O God, it's all gone!  We have no home.  All we have left is this car.  How could this happen to my family and me?

How will we survive?  How will I bathe the children or brush their teeth?  How will we sleep in such cramped quarters?  How will we stay warm through the cold nights?  Please calm the panic that's numbing my brain and paralyzing my thoughts.

I call upon you as our Provider.  We are your children and we are in need.  Help us, LORD.  Lead me to people who will open their hearts to help us.  Help me find a place for us to stay.  and give me work.

Show yourself strong; overcome this disaster in our lives and bring glory to your name.  We trust in you and your goodness right now, even before you've come to our rescue.

We praise you for your love and faithfulness and eagerly wait for your answer to this prayer.  In Jesus' name.
