"At First"
Father God,
That's a phrase we all have experienced. At first
it was so exciting, so new, we could not wait to be there and or do it again.
It was something we looked forward to and wanted to share it with others. We
were eager with anticipation about what might happen next. Father most of us
have been either been there or could be there now in our lives. When we first
met You we all felt this way. When we witnessed a friend experience meeting You
for the first time we felt that way. When prayers were answered that we felt
might be impossible to actually happen, we felt that way. But that was at
first... Oh God help us to hold fast or return to that place of excitement and
commitment to You. Help us not be tired of "seeing You work" in our and others
lives. Help us Father to always and forever obey and hold fast to Your love.
Let our first be our always....
