"Dealing with Our Children"
Dear Lord,
What an awesome task it is that you have
given me. To raise a child is not easy and it seems to get tougher
every day in this world. No matter how hard I try it seems that
the "other persons view" is better to them. They view my way as just
that...my way.
I teach them how to do something the way
a Christian should or live a "peaceful" lifestyle and the "others" tell
them how to get what they want...
God I need your help! It seems almost
impossible to do. The only manual You gave me was Your Word. And I try
to follow that with all my heart.
Help me Lord to trust that even with all
my goofs, and messes that You will complete the job I started. Keep
them safe from harm. Guide them as they go Lord like only You can. I
can not be there every moment each day but You are.
And please Lord put in my heart the
assurance that they will be OK. That I have done a good job. I place
them today in Your hands.
