"Distress Signal"
A man in Corvallis Oregon bought a television
that ended up bringing allot of entertainment and attention along with it. On
the night of October 2nd it began emitting the international distress signal,
which brought the Air Force, the police, and a member of the search and rescue
team to his door. A short time later the source of the signal was found.
Toshiba said they did not know why it had happened but would be glad to
replace the set!
Lord what I do know is that we too have a
distress signal that we can send out and all we have to do is call on your
name. You will come to our rescue no matter where in the world we are. Father
help us today, give us peace and rest where there is unsettled hearts and
minds. Give us hope where there seems to be no way... Give us strength instead
of the weakness we are experiencing. Send Your healing to those who are sick
and injured. Hear our cry Lord, answer our distress signals,
In Jesus name I pray,

Oh God, listen to me! hear my prayer! For
wherever I am though far away at the ends of the earth, I will cry to You for
help. When my heart is faint and overwhelmed, lead me to the mighty Rock of
safety.
