"How Will They
Know?"
Dear Father,
All of us who "attend
church" or profess Christ is our Savior are to the world called "Christians". But,
Father you gave us some definitive rules to live by and some measures
or standards that we should use. Love, is the way to make ourselves
known. I
am always amazed at Your Word when I read it. The things You spoke of
and told stories about, truly are, and still remain hidden to those
who do not know You. There are so many that live their life thinking that
they are in love with someone or believe that they are fulfilling
Your command to love one another. But, You said that the world will know
that we are Christians "by our great love for each other". Lord I know
it cannot be faked, helping when it is not convenient, giving when it
hurts, devoting energy to help others' welfare ... It's easy to see how
they will know, they really will, they will notice ... Help us Lord to
find that place in You, help us to fulfill Your command.
