"A Prayer for a Clean Heart"

Lord God,

Often I get out of the shower feeling so good, so clean and ready to face whatever may come. Lord I want to feel that way inside in my heart. David said it best when he said, "create in me a clean heart". Please God fill me with clean thoughts and right desires. Don't turn away from me and make me feel forgotten. Don't take away Your Holy Spirit from me. Bring back to me the Joy I feel when I am in Your presence, knowing that I am saved and make me willing to obey Your every wish. I want to praise You forever and ever for Your goodness, kindness, and Your never ending love.
