Father God,

 

Help us today to lay aside all our anger, all our resentment, and all our sin and turn to You in prayer. I know that these things do not please You and make it hard for us to pray. Create in me today a clean heart, renew a right spirit within me. Restore unto me a joy and a new filling of Your Holy Spirit and hear my prayers God. Lift me up with Your presence and give me direction in all of my life.

 

 In Jesus' name I pray,

 

Amen

 

"So I want men everywhere to pray with holy hands lifted up to God,

free from sin and anger and resentment"
