"Be Angry!"
Lord Jesus,
As I viewed the news
this morning I noticed an article about two men in a "Home Depot" store
who had got into a fight over a shopping cart. One of the men had
noticed a cart sitting empty in an aisle and decided to use it. When
the second man came along and found out his cart had been taken. An
argument ensued and the fight began. It left one of the men with a
tooth knocked out and another chipped, the second with eight stitches
in his chin and both of them arrested and in jail.
Lord help us today to
really concentrate on the important things in life, to overlook the
petty things and prioritize on the things that need our attention.
There are so many things that can distract us, Satan is a master at it.
He knows just what will trip our trigger and how to get under our skin,
anything to disrupt us and keep us from being more like You.
Help us learn that
nothing in life is as important as keeping our eyes on You and our feet
on the right path. Direct our every thought and action today,
