Prayers . . . on life
"Being Rich"
Lord God,
In this world that I live in, so much
points towards money and things bringing happiness despite overwhelming
evidence to the contrary.
Rich people almost without fail prove
that easily. They still crave more... And endless cycle causing harm
and destruction.
Help me today and teach me the balance,
to be content with what you give me. Oh, not that I can't pray for
needs but to be content with what You provide.
Help me to remember that riches someday
will all be gone, learn to keep track of the money I do have, and share
what You give to me with others in need.
Then Lord I know that I will learn to
love God and people more than the money. Help me to be a "complete"
Christian
