Dear Lord,

 

The news today had a small blurb about the old 1980's toy "the Cabbage Patch doll". Seems as though it is making a comeback.

 

The dolls were so popular because each one was unique. No two were the same. Odd in today's society, but never the less...

 

Lord, thank you that you made each of us as unique individuals. One in You, but no two the same. And in each one of us You placed special individual traits and gifts.

 

Help us Lord to realize our need to use those talents and gifts as You intended. Help us to help others, love others, and treat others as we would want to be treated. Help- us to show all those around us that we are unique but one in You.

 

In Jesus Name I pray,

to others the gift of being able to preach well, some have special ability in winning

people to Christ, others the gift of caring for people like a shepherd,

leading and teaching them in the ways of God "
