"Changing the World"
Lord,
My thoughts this morning raced to a time
when I was younger and how I would think if I could change the world
what I would do. In fact there were allot of people my age at that time
who considered the same idea to be a very natural thought. They even
wrote songs about it and included it on the signs they carried during
the "protest rallies". Jesus held his own protest rallies, in fact he
challenged the very core of men's thoughts with what he taught. Lord I
still believe we can change the world we live in but to do so we must
change ourselves. Help us to change our attitudes and to not seek the
happiness that the world offers but the joy that You offer. Help us to
give when others take, love when others hate, to help when others
abuse. Help me Lord as I try my best to change and shake up this world
we live in every day that I live.
