"Dead or Alive!"
Dear God,
As I read the words of Peter today I could not
help but think how often we all make promises. In our enthusiasm we can
make big and bold promises that we may not be able to keep. I know I
always mean to but more and more I find that unless I learn to keep
myself in line with Your direction for my life I fail. It reminds me of
the verse "do not say that today or tomorrow I will do this or I will
do that, for you do not know what tomorrow will bring". Instead of
boasting what I will do today, Help me Lord, to show my commitment to
You, as I grow step by step in Your knowledge and wisdom.
In the name of Jesus I pray,
