"De-sensitized"
Lord Jesus,
I was reading in the internet news about
an appliance store in Berlin that was doing a promo. The ad venue was
"Let's strip off prices to the buff!" and they were using a stripper
who was "topless" walking through the store figuring it would draw a
crowd. The most interesting part of the story was nobody really noticed
too much. Most of the people were seen casually browsing about the
store and not paying any attention to her.
How scary, Lord. We are or have become so
de-sensitized to things like that, we don't even notice or worse care.
We watch things on "family" TV now that was on "late night" a few years
back. We allow our children to participate in activities we were not
allowed to do.
God give us wisdom to discern, take the
salve off our eyes that the enemy has put on them. Give us hearts to
care, bring us to our knees and help us to pray without stopping, God
save our land, heal our nation and keep us safe from Satan's grasp!
