"Do You Hear Him?"
Father God,
We live in a world which has
accomplished so many amazing things in such a short period of time. Man going
into space, a man on the moon, robots on the surface of Mars with cameras
sending back pictures. That doesn't even take into account the things right
here on this planet. Lord it has only been less than twenty years that faxes
were new and a cell phone was the size of a small suitcase and only owned by
the affluent. Lord help all of us living among the spectacular things of
today's world to miss the small things, the quiet things. Help us not to miss
the opportunities You give us, or not to hear You when You speak because it is
not in some mighty way. Help us to listen for the whisper and be ready to say
"Yes Lord"
In Jesus name I pray,

"And after the earthquake, there was a fire, but the Lord
was not in the fire. And after the fire there was the sound of a gentle
whisper. When Elijah heard it he wrapped his face in a scarf and went
