Father God,
Today I was reading about a minister who while
passing through airport security was asked if he had any bombs or such on him
or in his luggage. He replied with "bombs, yes I have a bomb" and pulled out
his bible. The FBI arrested him on the spot...
God while we know You offer intimate friendship
and ultimate protection we all need to realize that You expect sound minds
(that You provide us as well!) and truthfulness to be used by us. Help us base
every decision and every word spoken to be representative of You. Help us
realize that we even have You as our bodyguard when we are walking in Your
Spirit, that You will watch over us
and keep us safe. Thank You
Lord for giving us that assurance, for being our Father and God.
