"Hear My Cry"
Dear Heavenly Father,
This morning Lord I feel so sure that you
must come soon and rescue us. Everywhere I look and see, rebels
fighting and killing innocent people and children in the name of their
god. I see children who are caught up in the middle of it and do not
even know what is going on. I read where a mayor in a central US town
banned the USA flag from city campgrounds rather than face the issue of
"others" saying if they can not fly their flag then the US flag should
not be allowed either.
God, there are signs of total confusion,
people no longer try to think or reason, they only do what comes to
their mind first. Others plot evil and try to carry it out in the name
of something that they represent. With all the knowledge at our
fingertips today it is much like the Bible said it would be, "running
back and forth having a form of the truth but not really understanding
what it means".
I pray today as David did. Come and
rescue us Lord. Let Your enemies see Your mighty hand of power. Lift
all Your children above the chaos and give them peace in their hearts.
Let us feel certain that You alone can change things, that You alone
can save us and that You are in complete control of this chaotic world
we live in. You hear and see all the trouble and at the appointed time
will return and rescue those who have been given Your name!
