"Here's Your
Sign!"
Lord Jesus,
As I viewed the news
this morning I noticed an article about a guy who robbed a local Credit
Union. The robbery went off without a hitch but he did make one a major
mistake. The slip of paper he used for the robbery and left behind was
the car rental receipt which stated when and where the car had to be
returned. The cops went and waited and sure enough the man returned the
car right on time, when and where he was supposed to, and they got
their man.
It reminded me Lord
of how before Jesus left this earth, He told the disciples that He
would not only return but in the meantime He would send the Holy
Spirit. He told them to wait there until they received the sign from
Him. They waited and received the "new man" and the world has not been
the same since. Help us today Lord to listen for Your voice, wait for
Your instructions and to know what we need to do when we receive.
God we need You more now than ever before to lead and guide our
everyday actions and thoughts in order to survive.
