"How
Embarrassing"
Lord Jesus,
I heard about a
packed McDonalds in Oslo Norway, full of families with small children
who were unpleasantly surprised when a fake Ronald McDonald came into
the restaurant. It seems he was part of a stunt, a protest, and was
screaming and yelling, causing quite a scene for all to see. What an
impression that must have made on the children there, as he ended up
handcuffed and led away by the police to jail! How embarrassing for
those families left trying to explain that he was not the real Ronald!
The real Ronald would never act like that.
God help us today to
not embarrass You. Help our every word and action to please You and be
a witness to others.
How awful it must be
for You when You watch day after day as we make dumb mistakes and bring
embarrassment upon our family. What do the others have to say to the
children of God as we sometimes make them feel uneasy and embarrassed
by our silly actions or words.
Help us to bring joy
and glory to the kingdom of God by always being what You want us to be,
whole, in mind body and spirit!
In Jesus name I pray,

remember?-pleading with you,
encouraging you and even demanding that
your daily lives should not embarrass God,
but bring joy to Him who
invited you into His kingdom to share His glory!"
