"I Am Not Buying
It!"
Lord Jesus,
The news today had an article telling how
a High School marching band was up for auction on E-Bay! After the
stories of body parts, tanks, fighter planes and some things that were
even illegal I thought " You really can sell anything!"
Lord I know we are being sold allot of
trash here on this place we live. Satan has been doing it for years and
years...He tried selling it to Jesus, (stones into bread, all the
kingdoms of the world, etc) but Jesus just wasn't buying it!
Father I ask You today teach us to not
"buy into the ways of the world". Help us to understand in our hearts
that we are different, that we are no longer part of this world
although we must live here for the time being. Give us understanding to
hold fast to the promise that You are coming back and You will take us
out of this world to a place that is more "real" than what we see and
feel and live in right now!
In Jesus name I pray,
