"I Don't Have To!"
Lord,
Help me today as I live, eat, breathe,
walk and talk to be assured in my mind that although I live on this
earth, I do not have to join in on things that are not good for me.
Help me know that even though all those around me scheme to try and get out of doing what
is right, or who refuse to do what is required of them, I don't
have to be like them. I don't have to make up stories to be liked. I
don't have to gossip. I
don't have to go to the places they go to in order to be one of them. I
don't need to smoke, drink, tell foul jokes or spend extravagantly to be a part of
the in crowd.
As a matter of fact I can just be me, for You and everything will be
all right. Help me today to just be me with a good heart for You Lord.
