"Light and Dark"
Dear God,
Someone turned the lights out on me last
night while I was going to the bedroom after being in a well lit room.
It was like being blind. I could not see at all for a little while,
then my eyes "adjusted" and I was able to safely but slowly make my way
into the bedroom without running into something. Same hallway, same
bedroom but I could not comprehend what was or was not there.
Lord, I thought that this is the way it is with
You in my life. Your word says Your are light and in You there is no
darkness at all. While you are with me I am able to see. When satan
comes there is darkness and while it is dark I cant tell if the path I
am on is good or bad. Father, help me today to always turn to the
light, to seek it out. Where there is light I can clearly distinguish
what is good and what is bad. Where there is light the darkness must
leave. Today this day I choose light!
