"Rules and Laws"
Lord Jesus,
Thank You Father that today I don't have
to live by a set of rules and laws. It's funny how even since we were
small we were reminded of the "golden rule" and although it was a good
idea to tell each other about it not one of us was ever able to keep
it. We all failed.
Thank You that we have a new set of
rules, a new agreement with You. One that we can "live up to". There is
still "death in the old law, but there is life in the Spirit. When it
comes down to it, saint and sinner alike still fail each and every day,
but when I call out Your name and you hear me, and reassure me that You
still love me, and You forgive me, I know in my heart that all will be
OK!
Thank You for loving me enough Lord to
send Your Son to this earth...
In Jesus name I pray,
