PRAYER WHEN I'M FACED WITH
CIRCUMSTANCES BEYOND MY CONTROL
Lord, I'm not used to this. I don't know where to go or what to do. I want to fix this, and I can't.
Thank you for the assurance that this situation doesn't knock you off your throne. Your power is not diminished by my helplessness. Your glory is not lessened by my human weakness. I can trust
You to act, even though I don't know what to ask You to do.
Somehow my heart is quieted when I concentrate on who
You are: Almighty, Compassionate, Sovereign, Beautiful, Deliverer, Excellent, Unchanging, Forgiving, Good, Holy, Living, Just, King Eternal, Merciful, Righteous, True, Wise, Friend.
Thank You for the grace to believe. Thank
You for the comfort that is mine when I leave this in your hands.
