"Comfort"
Dear God,
As I read the words in John today I thought about
how all of us like comfort. We like the things that bring us comfort, a
nice hot shower, a warm fire on a cold night, a soft blanket or
comforter when the winter winds blow and chill us. The words You spoke
as you were about to bodily leave the face of this earth were "when You
left the Father would send the comforter, the Holy Spirit." Father send
that same comforter Your Holy Spirit to each of us today, wrap Your
arms around us and fill us with Your peace and comfort. Let us know
that no matter what, You are with us. I thank you Lord
In the name of Jesus I pray,

"But when the Father sends the comforter instead of Me and by the
comforter I mean the Holy Spirit, He will teach you much as well
as remind you of everything I have told you"
