"Dead Branches"
Dear Lord,
I pray today for people
and myself to desire life in it's fullest. Not to be content to just
live but to seek You out, to desire Your life, and strength. Help us
not to be part of the living, but to be the living. There are many
trees with branches on them both alive and dead. The dead ones
eventually rot away and fall off. They have no use except to rot away
or be burned. They can not live separate from the tree. Their life
comes from the tree. We are compared to those same branches, we must
have You in our lives to live, we can not live without You. Help us
today Lord to hold on tight...
