"Desire to be Taught"
Father,
We can go through all the motions by
going to school for years but still learn nothing. You know that means
Sunday school as well. Just because we go does not mean we have learned
anything. But Lord if we really want to be taught and to learn, there
is practically no end to what we can learn. The hard part of learning
is the willingness to be corrected, to be able to accept criticism and
correction. That's hard to do for most all of us. What it amounts to is
pride! Help us this day Lord to begin learning, to swallow our pride,
to accept correction and start learning all that we can.
I ask it all in Jesus name,
Amen
