"Don't Fight"
Lord,
Teach us O' Lord to stop looking for a fight. We
don't have anything to prove, it's already been done. A man who is truly
confident of his strength does not need to parade it. A truly brave man does not
go around looking for his chances to be brave. A really resourceful man can find
a way out of a fight rather than show others how tough he is. A real man of
endurance can take some abuse without retaliating.
Insignificant men seem to find it impossible to
stay out of fights, but men of character can. Help us today Lord to take a long
look at ourselves to find out what type of person we are and then look for ways
to show how strong we really are by showing them You.
