"Insulting"
Dear Heavenly Father,
As I start today I want
to have a good attitude Lord. Help me not to react to the insults that
are sometimes thrown my way. It is so easy to quickly react and throw
one right back at them. When I was a kid it was natural, "oh yea, well
your mother wears army boots" and I thought nothing of it but even then
it hurt. Not just them but me too. It solved nothing and
encouraged trouble.
Help me Lord to keep my
cool, to answer slowly, quietly, and with a positive attitude. Then I
can enjoy the positive results.
I ask You for all these things in Jesus' name,
Amen
